Johnie Lewis Tidwell, Jr. is a new media video content producer/director assisting small businesses and corporations (record labels, broadcasters, magazine publishers, mobile operators, internet portals, pr companies, advertisers and corporate brands) to produce short-form branded entertainment video content for their products and services distributed on multi-platforms. Prior to establishing his new media video content production company, Johnie spent over 20 years as a production studio technician, associate producer and independent video producer/director.Johnie’s company offers a wide range of programs and services – from video content development, media production and internet marketing strategy. He specializes in consulting with independent artists on building an online audience/fanbase for their work and website using web 2.0 social networking sites and branded entertainment video programming. Johnie is no stranger to grassroots branding and video marketing development. He has worked with casting celebrity talent for short-form entertainment content, developed content for cross-promotions, advised broadband networks on business development concepts and worked with convention organizers on pr campaigns.After successfully coaching several websites and artists, Johnie now consults small businesses and corporations to achieve the same success.Upon graduating from Parkland College with an associates in fine arts, Johnie enrolled into Southern Illinois University – Carbondale, Cinema & Photography Program. Submerged in cinematic sensory overload, S.I.U. film school was hisbasic training in production strategy and cinematic theory. He was introduced to a new world of imagery, sound and compelling story-telling from classic films during his coursework.
